The Great Plains are stopping by Spinster Records from the neighboring state of Lousiana to bring their blend of rock and Americana to the stage. Joining them on stage will be local acts Jacob Vaughn and Trees Marie. Party starts at 7 PM. Spinster Records is always BYOB.

Tuesday, 04.10.18 – All the President’s Men

This timeless, Academy Award winning movie tells the unbelieveable (and true) tale of the two Washington Post journalists, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, who uncovered the Watergate scandal which ultimately led to the Nixon impeachment. Starring a very young Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman, All the President’s Men is not to be missed. The movie starts at 7 PM and, if you want to grab a bite to eat beforehand, we recommend Malai Kitchen or Mi Cocina, both walking distance from the Magnolia Theatre.

Wednesday, 04.11.18 – King Krule

King Krule travels from across the pond to promote his latest album The Ooz at the Granda Theatre. His music can be described as a finely balanced blend of jazz, R&B, and punk rock, and his voice can be described as deep and soulful. If you are unfamiliar with King Krule, check out “Dum Surfer,” “Biscuit Town,” and “Blue Train Lines (ft. Mount Kimbie).” Doors at 7 PM, show at 8 PM. If you want to grab dinner beforehand, we recommend Café Izmir or Blue Ocean.

Thursday, 04.12.18 – The Main Squeeze

Mentored by Randy Jackson, the Main Squeeze is a soulful, powerful, and unique band that packs a punch. In the past, the band has toured with powerhouses The Roots, Aloe Blacc, and Jane’s Addiction. Check them out at Club Dada for their headlining tour before their new album release, “Without a Sound”, drops April 28th. Show’s at 8.
